To continue providing first-rate service, BD&P is now looking for someone to join our team in the newly created role of Vice President, Business Development.    

Reporting to the Managing Partner and the Executive Committee the newly created Vice President, Business Development will have primary responsibility for proactively sourcing new business opportunities, retaining and expanding existing client relationships and  developing and implementing marketing strategies and business development initiatives designed to leverage and grow our brand and drive revenue and profitability. The Vice President, Business Development will engage directly with the marketplace to identify new business opportunities to both expand our clientele and strengthen and increase the range of services we provide to existing clients. In addition, the incumbent will develop, mentor, and lead the members of the Marketing & Business Development team.

As the successful candidate you will preferably have a post-secondary degree in business, commerce, or related discipline along with an outstanding record of achievement in relationship building roles and functions. It is also expected that you bring proven innovative strategic thinking and analytical skills in addition to impeccable credibility and reputation with internal and external stakeholders. With a focus on exceptional communication skills, you will lead professional service sales, marketing, and business development initiatives. In addition, you will bring a commitment to driving results and leadership to building value, driving vision, and achieving critical business objectives. Lastly, as Vice President, Business Development, you show the ability to work collaboratively with lawyers, other department head, and teams with sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
