Due to a retirement at the end of June, an opportunity exists for a talented financial and administrative leader to assume the role of Vice President, Administrative Services and Chief Financial Officer. Reporting directly to the President and a part of the Senior Management team, this role oversees the work of a talented and high functioning team of Directors who oversee Finance, Facilities and Ancillary Services, Safety, Security and Risk Management, and contract training (a division referred to as The Training Group). This individual will attend board meetings on a consistent basis and is the key executive liaison to the Audit and Finance Committee and the Campus Planning Committee.

The incumbent’s successful tenure, knowledge, commitment, and passion for the organization have contributed significantly to the organization’s success and financial health and has laid a solid groundwork for the new leader to join at an exciting time in the College’s evolution and growth.

The ideal candidate is a designated finance professional with significant experience in senior-level, financial and administrative roles – preferably within a broader public sector organization such as a college, university, hospital or health authority, or similar setting. Exposure to large scale capital projects will be highly advantageous. With respect to personal attributes, the ideal candidate is a highly collaborative and respectful leader and contributor who brings a can-do attitude and enjoys playing a key role in enhancing the lives of students.
