Established in 1973, WESTAC (Western Transportation Advisory Council) is a not-for-profit, non-partisan organization composed of organizations with a stake in the Western Canadian transportation system. It is a forum where senior leaders of these organizations join to explore Western transportation issues that are important to Canada’s economic well-being. WESTAC acts as a convener, facilitator and catalyst for change. Members span the modes and sectors: carriers, logistics providers, shippers, ports and terminals, labour unions, and the three levels of government.

As a result of a retirement, WESTAC is seeking a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the organization into the future and support member’s shared objectives to support trade and make improvements to the Western Canadian transportation system. The CEO must be equipped to support these discussions, while being responsive to member's evolving priorities.
