Trican Well Service Ltd. is a Canadian-focused energy services company with corporate headquarters in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Founded in 1979, Trican has grown to be currently the largest fracturing and cementing service provider in Canada. They also provide supporting services including coil tubing, nitrogen, and acidizing services. The company completed the acquisition of Canyon Technical Services Ltd. in 2017, expanding its Canadian franchise.

Trican is now looking for a new Board Director to join their highly skilled and knowledgeable Board to help set the direction and strategy for the future of the organization. The successful candidate will have senior executive experience within the Canadian E&P industry and understand the opportunities and challenges that exist in Canadian oilfield service operations. In addition, the successful candidate should have some combination of governance experience, a presence in and knowledge of the Canadian energy landscape, experience with technology and digitization, and/or entrepreneurial experience. Familiarity with the merger and acquisition process, including integration management as well as experience with strategic planning in a cyclical industry would be see as assets.
