Robert Travis is a Managing Partner in both Canada and USA of Boyden Global Executive Search. He is a core member of Boyden's Industrial Practice Group. Robert joined Boyden in 1996 founding the Calgary office at that time.  He is responsible for the daily operations of the practices and has successfully created a strong team of professionals with equally impressive backgrounds and capabilities.

Robert's primary area of focus is staffing executives in market sectors such as energy (oil, gas and electricity), energy services, manufacturing and technology. He currently manages the search requirements for several Fortune 100 and 500 accounts and conducts executive search in both Canada and the United States. Within the mentioned market sectors of experience, Robert has had tremendous success in both the management and operational sides of the business. Examples of areas of experience include general management, finance, sales, marketing, operations, supply chain and human resources.

As a citizen of both Canada and the United States, Robert specializes in helping companies who have business interests on both sides of the border. Having a sound understanding of the subtle differences in leadership requirements, Robert is often called upon to staff Presidents, Vice Presidents, General Managers, CFO's and Country Controllers for business units of companies headquartered in either country.

Robert served as a Director of Boyden World Corporation from April 2007 to April 2013.  He served as Chair of the both Finance and Audit Committee as well as the Technology Committee.   

Holding a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Stetson University, DeLand, Florida, Robert is also a member of several industry related groups and associations.
