Janice, a well-regarded leader and expert across a broad range of industries, is a Managing Director of Boyden Canada and leads Boyden’s Toronto office. She has led Canadian and international Board, C-level, and senior executive searches in a range of sectors including financial services, technology, pharmaceutical, gaming & casinos, and manufacturing. 

She began her career at Ernst & Young, focusing on the Canadian entrepreneurial sector, and developed a strong background in management consulting. She subsequently held top management roles at some of the world's leading executive search firms. Her impressive reputation comes from the countless successful searches she has executed, from overseeing research and screening and interviewing candidates, to facilitating selection committee discussions and managing client expectations.

Janice's success is also due to her strength as a leader — managing, mentoring and conducting performance reviews for her teams. And her professional achievements are matched by the commitments she has made to a wide variety of volunteer organizations. She has served as a mentor in both the Dress for Success Program and Women in Leadership, and is an active member of Verity (Toronto's Executive Women's Club) and Women in Capital Markets. She also developed and managed a drop-in recruitment/training center for a diverse client base.

Janice holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts in English and sociology, along with a Master of Arts in sociology, from the University of Western Ontario, London. She also worked there as a teaching assistant and sociology instructor.
